Harry Edward Styles, known as Harry Styles in the world of pop music. by the name of Harry Styles, is a British composer and performer, recognized as one of the members of the group One Direction. His parents were Des Styles and Anne Cox. The couple were born on 1st February, 1994, in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire. Harry Styles, a former student of Holmes Chapel Comprehensive Schools Holmes Chapel Comprehensive schools formed a group called White Eskimo along with three other students. The band won in 2009's Battle of Bands thanks to the excellent presentation they gave. Though he's been attracted to music, he was also hoping to be an lawyer or an physiotherapist. As a worker in the city's pastry shop Harry Styles could afford to provide for his family. Harry Styles was selected for The X Factor 2010 audition in which he performed Stevie Wonder's hit song Is not She Lovely. For that reason his band had to separate. Nicole Scherzinger was the judge that suggested Harry Styles to be part the group that would later be called One Direction, along with Liam Payne Zayn malik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored five teenagers to create the group in the year 2010. During the competition the band sang songs such as My Life Would Suck Without You by Kelly Clarkson and Total Eclipse of the Heart by Bonnie Tyler so the group were among the hopefuls to be the winner. They were however in third place behind Rebecca Ferguson, and the winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles did not receive an award, but Cowell offered a 2-million-pound deal with One Direction in order for the group to join Syco Records.
