Kelly Clarkson (American singer/songwriter) is a popular American following her win on American Idol's first season. Not only was she pushed into stardom by her win, but she also signed the contract for several albums with RCA Records 19 Recordings & S Records. Since her debut her album, she's released several albums. Of those albums three were ranked first on the US Billboard 200. The other albums were also close to reaching the top position. Her name is one of the most well-known artists that are emerging from American Idol. After achieving success, she experimented with different themes and music styles often singing with her partner in line to her own personal experiences. The singer received critical acclaim as well as several prestigious awards for her individuality and singing prowess. The most notable accomplishment was that she received 3 Grammy awards. The music industry isn't her only occupation. She also appears in movies and television programs. She also wrote the book for children River Rose and the Magical Lullaby as well as been a part of several charities.
