Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor-Joy was born on the 16th of April, 1996 in Miami Florida. She is half English and half Spanish She is the child of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker, and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. The father of her is Argentine with Scottish as well as English descendance. Her mother hails from Spanish and English descent. Taylor-Joy's siblings are four of her father's previous marriage. They lived in Buenos Aires until she was six then relocated to the Victoria area of London. Taylor Joy says that moving to England was extremely stressful. Taylor Joy was unable to master English and believed she would be able to relocate back to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school after she switched from Northlands. After that, she was enrolled at Queen's Gate School, where she studied dance and performed in plays. When she was 16, she quit school to pursue a profession acting full-time. From a young age Taylor-Joy had a dream to be an actor and her dreams came true when she was given a modeling job by Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
