Laura Linney
Laura Linney, born February 5, 1964, in New York, New York U.S.A. has been an American actress known for portraying the tough but vulnerable character. Linney was raised in a theater family her father was the playwright and writer Romulus Linney. In 1986, she graduated at Brown University. She then trained in the Theatre Arts program at Arts Theatre School Moscow before receiving her diploma from Juilliard School with a M.F.A. New York City was her initial destination in 1990. She immediately began performing in shows on Broadway and eventually receiving praise for her performances as Hedda Gabler in Six Degrees of Separation and Hedda Gabler.
